Boston hosted the American Society of Landscape Architects Annual Meeting and Expo in 2013. As a Boston-based Landscape Architecture firm, Reed Hilderbrand wanted to give a gift to the attendees of the convention. They wanted to share knowledge about their local projects as well as other places in the Boston area worth visiting. Of course, they also wanted to promote conference lectures and seminars that firm members were leading.
The ASLA Conference Field Book was to be a precious piece printed in limited quantity backed up by a friendly mobile edition. The main objective was to inform and educate the convention attendees, promoting Reed Hilderbrand’s work while also sharing the personality and values of the firm’s leadership and staff. A secondary goal was to roll a new short film (linked through the book) that we had produced over the summer regarding the future of Boston’s Seaport District. An additional goal was to preview the firm’s new 2014 logotype and identity.
